The client aims to understand funding mechanisms for adult HPV vaccinations by identifying key partners, policies, and financial flows within the private sector. They also seek to address challenges in healthcare system capacity, including infrastructure and distribution, while exploring payer perceptions of HPV vaccination, its value, and funding considerations
Solution
In-depth primary research was conducted to gather understanding on:
- Insights from key stakeholders, including NGOs, policymakers, corporates with employee healthcare provisions, insurance companies, distributors and retailers
- Key funding partners, existing policies, and financial flows within the private healthcare sector
- Capacity of private healthcare systems, including infrastructure, distribution networks, and challenges in vaccine supply chain
- Payer perceptions, including awareness of cervical cancer and HPV, vaccine value drivers, and factors influencing funding decisions
- Strategies to enhance access and affordability of adult HPV vaccination
Results
- We enabled the client to attain valuable insights into the Sub-Saharan African markets
- Helped the client gain clear insights into key funding mechanisms, the capacity of healthcare systems to deliver HPV vaccinations, and payer perceptions of adult HPV vaccines
- Additionally, we provided insights on strategies to enhance the accessibility and uptake of adult HPV vaccination across the region
