Our client had a focus on Alzheimer’s disease research and treatment and wanted to understand the the process of establishing a Named Patient Program to allow unlicensed medicines to be made available for patients with Alzheimer’s Disease

Defined the Named Patient Program Pathway and Quantified Opportunity

  • Conducted secondary research to understand the pre-approval approaches to patient access
  • Conducted discussions with relevant stakeholders to understand the the criteria needed to establish a Named Patient Program, the approval process, funding and pricing of such medicines, the ordering process, as well as the product importation and distribution
