Challenge

Our client was looking to understand the treatment landscape for Thyroid Eye Disease with a focus on the diagnosis process, treatment options, and opportunities to capture more patients at early stages and the use of channels in finding information about TED

Solution

Conducted qualitative in-depth interviews of ophthalmologists and eye specialists in Saudi Arabia

• Understood the factors behind the disease prevalence and challenges in diagnosing patients with TED
• Assessed healthcare professionals’ use of various platforms to diagnose and treat TED
• Analysed the role of pharmaceutical products and product support in influencing physician decisions

Results

• Enabled client to understand the treatment pathway for TED
• Provided client with a report on most influential sources of information for diagnosis and treatment of TED
• Provided client with extensive qualitative and evaluative data on physicians’ top sources of information about TED
